The Coronation of Charles III
On May 6th, 2023, millions of people around the globe watched as Prince Charles (Mountbatten) of the House of Windsor was invested, anointed and crowned as King Charles III in Westminster Abbey, London.
Among the millions watching the ceremony were many Americans and Canadians with deep historic and ancestral ties to Great Britain and English culture. Among those were Barbara Honegger in Carmel, California and Robert Morningstar in New York City.
The Motto: "ALL SHALL BE WELL AND ALL OF THINE MANNER SHALL BE WELL"
Discussing the ceremonies after the end of the royal procession and parade through London, which culminated at Buckingham Palace, Barbara Honegger and Robert Morningstar spoke cross-country and both agreed that the high point of the coronation ceremony was not the actual crowning of the new king, but rather the ceremonial anointing of the prince and king-to-be with Holy Chrism, or sacred oil.
Chrism
Chrism is essential for the Catholic Sacrament of Confirmation/Chrismation, and is prominently used in the sacraments of Baptism and Holy Orders. Those to be confirmed or chrismated, after receiving the laying on of hands, are anointed on the head by the bishop or priest.
The anointing took place behind 4 screens, which were placed surrounding the new king as he was divested of royal wardrobe to be anointed on his head and chest, in private, behind the screens to shield the prince and prelates from the gaze and the eyes of more than 2000 invited guests who thronged the historic cathedral.
Prince Charles was divested and stripped down to a simple white tunic for the anointing by the Archbishop of Canterbury, Justin Welby, assisted by 2 other Bishops of the Anglican rite, as “Zadok The Priest” by Georg Friderich Handel was played and sung by the heavenly choir filling the great cathedral with the sounds of celestial harmony.
This ritual was followed by the actual coronation and placement of the Crown upon the newly anointed King of Great Britain, Charles III.
Emerging from the cathedral after the ceremonies, the new King and Queen of Great Britain began the procession back to Buckingham Palace by receiving a Royal Salute with the playing of the National Anthem.
After his crowning, King Charles III and members of the royal family traveled back to Buckingham Palace, waving to thousands of spectators lining the route. NBC News correspondents and commentators reflect on the historic ceremony.

On May 6th, Barbara Honegger wrote to Robert Morningstar:
What makes this so important is that my late husband's Scottish Grandfather, British Army Capt. Arthur Clare Murray, was one of Queen Victoria's illegitimate grandsons and so was invited to attend the Coronation of her successor in Westminster.
The illuminated Program, which I've inherited from my husband, states explicitly in the words of the opening paragraph that the authority and legitimacy of the King who is about to be crowned COMES FROM THE STONE in St. Edward's Chair.
The Stone of Scone: The Strange and Twisted Story of a Special Hunk of Sandstone
Per the attached based on decades of research that I've personally done, including following the path of the Stone throughout Scotland with my husband, Arthur's grandson, A SUBSTITUTE was pawned off on King Edward I's forces when they invaded Scotland in 1296 and a FAKE taken back to London and placed under the seat of St. Edward's Chair, which was made to house it where it stayed for 700 years and on which every British Monarch has been anointed and crowned since.
It was finally returned to Scotland in November 1996 on the 700th Anniversary of its theft by Edward I. The substituted fake Stone stolen in 1296 was just temporarily returned to Westminster and reinserted in St. Edward's Chair for Charles' coronation.

Bottom line: As the Stone in the Chair is in fact a substitute, by the Monarchy's own core claim, Charles is not the legitimate king and neither were any of the British Monarchs crowned on It since 1296.

"Not My King!" - Not all Britons Recognize Charles III as “The King”
According to a recent YouGov poll only 9 percent of British citizens “care a great deal” about the Coronation and the Monarchy compared with 64 percent who “don’t care at all” or “don’t care very much.” The greatest difference is between seniors who generally are more in favor versus the younger generations who are against in already large and increasing numbers. Most of the youngest cohort -- 59 percent -- said that King Charles was out of touch with the experiences of the British public, but 34 percent of those over 65 also felt that way. There was a similar divide when it came to interest in the royal family, with 78 percent of the youngest group surveyed saying it had “none”.

At Time Mark 3:42: of this video is a segment on “the most sacred part of the Ceremony that takes place on St. Edwards Chair”, the Coronation Chair, in which “The Stone of Destiny” has been placed under the seat, temporarily returned from Edinburgh Castle in Scotland for the crowning event and to be returned afterwards.
The Coronation Seat of Scottish Kings at Scone Palace until 1296 when the forces of Edward I of England stole what they thought was the real Stone to take back to the King, who had a Chair made to house it under the seat on which all British Monarchs including Charles III have been crowned in Westminster since.

The Stone in the Chair (even though the substitute) was liberated by Glasgow students and driven over the border to Scotland in 1950, temporarily returned to Westminster not long after, and finally returned to Edinburgh Castle in Scotland in an official ceremony in November 1996 to join the other “Honors of Scotland” on the exact 700th Anniversary of the fake Stone’s theft by the British.

The Scottish National Party (SNP) recently announced that it intends to move the Stone in 2024 from Edinburgh Castle to Perth Town Hall, near Scone Palace where Scottish Kings were traditionally crowned.
The Scottish Knights Templar, many of whom are high ranking officials in the SNP, have pledged that the real Stone will be brought out for the first time since 1296 when the Independence Referendum is finally allowed and succeeds.
The Stone of Destiny, also known as “Scota’s Stone” and returned in November 1996, is shown above with the other ‘Honors of Scotland,’ was finally back home in Edinburgh Castle 700 years to the day after King Edward I of England’s forces stole the substituted Stone from the traditional coronation seat of Scottish Kings at Scone in November 1296. Only the (fake) Stone -- but not the Scottish Crown, Sword and Septre – will be part of Charles’ Coronation Ceremony in Westminster on May 6, 2023, after which the Stone will be returned to Edinburgh Castle.

An historic exchange of letters, missing since 1762, between Queen Elizabeth I and her cousin Mary Queen of Scots, then in her 16th of 19 years of imprisonment in England, has been revealed. The prize of the collection, which rewrites history, called the John Guy Letter, proves conclusively that, in defiance of her ministers, Elizabeth sought a last minute reconciliation with Mary whose proposals she took so seriously that she disappeared to reflect on them for a month in absolute secrecy.
In her letters to Elizabeth, Mary offered that in exchange for her freedom and the right to return to Scotland and rule jointly with her son, she would recognize Elizabeth as the lawful Queen of England, never again claim her throne, not support Elizabeth’s rebels in Scotland, not conspire against her, uphold the Protestant Reformation in Scotland, that Elizabeth would decide who Mary’s son James VI (who also became James I of England after Mary and Elizabeth’s deaths) married, and that James and Elizabeth would jointly approve a final settlement of the offer which required Elizabeth to inform Mary’s son.
However, the secret negotiations collapsed for a shocking reason: James, then 18, refused to allow his mother to return to Scotland or to be Queen, ensuring her execution on Elizabeth’s order.
For Mary, this was matricide and the cruelest of betrayals. The great irony of this newly revealed history is that a Scottish king first united England and Scotland by sacrificing his own mother and formed the union which Scotland is finally about to sever.
