Nine Million, six hundred and eight thousand and two (9, 608,002) people watched the commemoration of the 60th anniversary of the JFK Assassination via the LIVE Cam positioned in the so-called “Snipers Nest” in The 6th Floor Museum in the Texas School Book Depository.

Although there was no sound, I found it very moving, especially watching small clusters of people going to the spot (X) in the middle of the street between the on and off flow of traffic to pray, to kneel, or bow and place flowers.  

It was also touching to see drivers on Elm Street who, when they saw the flowers, veered their cars to avoid running over the flowers, tributes  and other tokens of esteem when they spotted them on the road.

To mark this historic 60th Anniversary of the death of John F. "It's been very difficult in a lot of ways. Not only to be known as the bastard of the dictator Pérez Jiménez, hated by his wife and most of his daughters, but although my grandmother wanted to keep me away from this world and instill in me a love for the arts, my mother educated me by teaching me how to assemble and disassemble weapons, to shoot, to do espionage work, to live with threats and death attempts, and even survive in the jungle..."

MB - "It all started with your grandmother Alice...

"My grandmother was an actress and dancer who was going to shoot her first silent film in Germany. There she met my grandfather, Heinrich Lorenz, a naval captain whom she married. Then the war started and she was trapped in Nazi Germany, her children had to join the Hitler Youth, while she and my mother tried to survive. On one occasion, a drunken Nazi soldier entered the house. My grandmother tried to hide my mother, who was a child, in the bathroom and, pretending to seduce the soldier, she mixed cleaning products in her drink trying to poison him. It didn't work at first, so he kept pouring her the mixed drink hoping he wouldn't notice. When the man finally reacted, he tried to grab the gun, but it was too late and he collapsed. My mother helped my grandmother take the body out into the street."

MB - It wouldn't be your last run-in with the Nazis...

"My grandmother Alice tried to help the United States as much as possible, until she was sent with my mother to the Bergen Belsen concentration camp. Both survived, eventually moving to New York, where my grandmother would continue to work in some capacity for the CIA..."

MB - "Until your mother got involved in espionage as well..."

"My grandfather was captain of the ocean liner MS Berlin, which used to sail from Germany to Cuba and other places, and on a trip to the Caribbean, Fidel Castro, at the beginning of his time in power, it was the year 1959, came on board. There he met my mother, who was 19 years old, and with whom he fell in love after kissing her in her cabin. Soon he would invite her to go to Cuba, where my mother had a passionate affair with the dictator. My mother claimed (and the CIA has corroborated this in reports) that she became pregnant with Fidel, but that at eight months of pregnancy she was drugged, had her fetus removed, and then returned to New York.

MB -That was the beginning of your career in the CIA...

"My mother was a broken woman. A victim of the concentration camps as a child, and then indoctrinated with cruel tactics by the CIA, to convince her that she had to kill Fidel. They turned her into a toy that had to use her body to seduce key characters to get money or information. The means they used to brainwash my mother into being a murderer again were inhumane, to say the least. They used a combination of drugs, sleep deprivation, and visual and audio stimuli."

MB - Was that when you were given your first mission?

"The CIA sent her to Cuba in order to assassinate Fidel Castro by poisoning him. My mother changed the story because when she arrived before the one she claimed was the love of her life, she confessed the plot and did not carry out the plan. The story was that the pills the CIA had given him for botulinum toxin were hidden in a jar of face cream and dissolved."

MB - That was one of her first assignments, but not the only dictator in herlife...

"No. After that failed mission, she was sent to meet General Marco Pérez Jiménez. She didn't know that he had been president of Venezuela, or that he had fled the country with money, or that he was married. She found out who he was when she saw a coin with his face on it. The mission was to collect the payments he made to the U.S. government for keeping him in the country. My mother got pregnant on that mission, and I was born."

MB - He was a married man... The scandal would not have sat well with his wife, “Flor”

"In fact, I was furious, humiliated. My mother tried not to extradite my father and she did it through a paternity lawsuit that put us in the media. My mother went to visit him in prison, but when he came back there was an attempt on his life, they tried to run us over. I am convinced that the only people with motives to eliminate us were Mrs. Perez Jimenez and the lawyer David Walters, who would later become the U.S. ambassador to the Vatican. She was publicly embarrassed and was the wife of a dictator. My father had set up a trust fund for me, once recognized, which I never had access to. With my father in prison in 1964, a small plane would come to pick us up to presumably meet him, and instead we were left to fend for ourselves in the Venezuelan jungle, where we barely survived for months (my mother contracted malaria) until my grandmother tracked us down and sent us to rescue us."

MB - But the vicissitudes do not end there for you...

"In the fall of 1963, the agent who had trained my mother, Frank Sturgis, one of the five burglars of the Watergate scandal who would go to jail in 1973, affiliated with the Mafia, would meet a few days before JFK's assassination with a group of men including Lee Harvey Oswald (accused of the death of John F. Kennedy), all anti-Castro, and furious with Kennedy for the Bay of Pigs fiasco. Then they would go to Dallas, my mother accompanied them as part of the deal. There is a photo that, according to her, proves it, and where, according to her own testimonies in the Congressional Commission of Inquiry that I attended as a teenager, these men had plans, weapons and discussed the assassination of the president."

MB - An incident that would change his own life...

"In 1976-77, Sturgis was furious with my mother. He left a very worrying message on the answering machine that I, as a 15-year-old, listened to.

They had already ended the life of my grandmother, who I am convinced died in a suspicious way. My grandmother, in her sixties, tripped and hurt her shoulder. She was taken to the doctor and received an injection that killed her from an unknown paralysis. My grandmother knew everything...

And now they would come to kill my mother. On Halloween 1977, I grabbed his gun and hid in the street waiting for Sturgis to show up. I saw a man coming into the building and I thought it was him. I shot at him a couple of times, but I didn't hit him. The police showed up and arrested me, but when I told them what had happened, they were able to arrest Sturgis, who would show up later as I feared. My picture was in all the newspapers. When I was arrested, I was remanded to my mother's custody because I was a minor."

MB - "This wouldn't stop her mother's espionage career.”

"No, then she married an FBI agent, and she spied on high-profile people from communist countries who lived in our building. I would help her pick up the trash and look for information to pass on to the Feds."

MB - Her story sounds fantastic, and there are those who accuse her of exaggerating.

"I tell the stories as I saw them, as they were always spoken at home... There are things that I can't prove, like that the son my mother had with Fidel is alive and, according to her, he [André Vázquez] is a pediatrician and she met him in Cuba, I haven't met him. As for the rest, there are photos, reports from the CIA, from the FBI, that prove what I am saying. One of my father's sisters, who lives in Spain, gave up DNA to prove that I am Perez Jimenez's daughter. Although being the daughter of a former president, I never had access to any money or privileges from him.

MB - After Marita Lorenz was exposed, she would no longer receive a salary as a spy. Mónica Pérez Jímenez began working as a waitress at a very young age. She didn't finish high school, but he would make it to college later on.

She worked in the fitness industry as a personal trainer. She appeared topless in Playboy in a 1991 photoshoot. She became a bodybuilder and placed seventh in Miss Fitness World for Arnold Schwarzenegger in 1994, representing Latin America. She is a musical theater actress and television stuntwoman in New York, working on HBO's "Oz." She appeared with her son in an episode of Fear Factor in 2011.)

I have lived with great trauma due to my childhood, and also having been a victim of sexual abuse in a Catholic school, so I am supporting causes that protect children... I don't hold a grudge against my mother despite having given me a life of danger and uncertainty, my mother was a victim and an incredible woman, I want my legacy to be that the people who judge her so easily know her story."
